Clwb Syrffio Llŷn: Surfing, Smiles & Community Spirit

Here at Abersoch Watersports, we’re incredibly proud to be part of something truly special;  Clwb Syrffio Llŷn, our local community surf club. Since the very beginning, many years ago, our team along with other dedicated locals have passed qualifications and volunteered as surf instructors and lifeguards to help get the club get off the ground and grow into the popular after school surf club it is today.

Each summer, it’s our privilege to welcome local children from across Pen Llŷn to the beach every Tuesday evening, helping them catch their first waves and build confidence in the water. The laughter, the friendships, the progression, it’s what makes it all worthwhile. Watching them start at grassroots level learning how to first stand up on a surfboard to seeing some of them now paddling out back on bigger swell days, its amazing to see how far they've all come!

This is our way of giving back to the community we love, and we’re always blown away by the enthusiasm and excitement  the kids bring to the sessions. Surfing teaches resilience, respect for the sea, and a whole lot of fun and we’re so proud to be part of that right here in our little village.
